Application

Platinum dichloride is an important raw material for the preparation of other platinum-containing compounds, it is commonly used in the industry for electroplating and catalyst preparation. Platinum (IV) chloride acid is used as raw material to prepare platinum (IV) chloride, in which an important step is to reduce it to platinum (II) chloride acid, the traditional method using sulfur dioxide as reducing agent is easy to produce sulfate impurity, which affects the purity of the product.
